Is it necessary to register for online screening?

Yes.  Your organisation should register with the DCSI Screening Unit for online screening as soon as possible to enable you to submit applications using the online system. 

As of 1 December 2016 all applications are to be submitted online (except where exceptional circumstances can be demonstrated). 

You only need to register your organisation once on the system.

Since it was introduced on 1 July 2015, the online screening application process has resulted in significant improvements in customer satisfaction, reduced screening times, and has minimised application errors that previously caused delays in processing.

What if my organisation is a current customer?

Even if already a customer of the DCSI Screening Unit (and your organisation has previously used paper forms to apply for screening), you will still need to register before using the new online system.  This is because we need to set up your site permissions and payment functions, and provide you with a log-in and password that you can use to access the online system via the online 'portal'.
